Introducing the new Columbia County School District Strings Academy—a dynamic and inspiring program designed for 5th-12th-grade students who are currently enrolled in the CCSD and are eager to explore the world of music through string instruments.
Whether your child is just beginning their musical journey or already has experience playing, the CCSD Strings Academy offers a unique opportunity to grow their talent, build lasting friendships, and perform in exciting concerts across the district.
Students will learn from expert instructors once a week after school, at Brookwood Elementary School or Lakeside High School. Location and time will be determined by class enrollment. Parents are responsible for their students’ transportation to and from practice. At the end of the school year, participants will perform at the district’s prestigious Arts at the Plaza at the Columbia County Performing Arts Center.
